The Chiefs And Officers of CFD would like to congratulate Firefighter Dave Wilburn on successfully attaining his certification as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT-B) .

He recently completed the class that encompassed over 160 hours of classroom and clinical time over the past 6 months.

Dave was also part of a group of new members who recently completed the Suffolk County Firefighter 1 program.

Dave joined CFD joined early last year after retiring and returning home after a distinguished career in the US Army.

The entire membership congratulates and wishes him well in his future Fire and EMS endeavors.
