On Monday February 24th CFD firefighters joined firefighters from Southold, Mattituck and East Marion Fire Departments for a night of training focusing on SCBA / Air Management at the Southold Fire Department.

Firefighters from the different Departments challenged each other to a friendly game of dodge ball.

Besides being a friendly competition to build comradery, this was a drill that was designed to build trust in a firefighters SCBA while focusing on Air Management in stressful or physical situations.

Throughout the games firefighters had to wear their turnout gear and utilize their SCBA to breathe while participating.

In addition to playing the game the goal was to have your air last as long as possible.

The night was filled with fun and laughs with our friends.
