Over the past few weeks construction crews have been continually working on the demolition of our old firehouse.
Work has been ongoing and excavation crews are complete with the demolition phase of the project.
The work on site will continue as the next phase will encompass preparing the site for construction of the new building.
Thank you to local Photographer Rory MacNish who provided these overhead shots of the old firehouse being torn down.
The members of the Cutchogue Fire Department thank our community for your continued support as we embark on this new endeavor.
As a reminder, CFD has worked diligently to ensure that we remain fully operational and prepared to respond to any emergencies during the construction project.
All Emergency Equipment and communications equipment has been moved to our storage buildings on the District property across from the old firehouse. A dedicated houseman will still be on hand from 7am to 11pm for any assistance.
All meeting, business, and administrative offices for the Department and Fire District have been moved to the CFD Annex located at the corner of Route 25 and Harbor Lane.
Please check back often as we will continue to provide updates as the project progresses.
