Just after 8:15 pm on Friday Night, CFD Volunteers responded to a motor vehicle accident on Route 25 in front of the Santa's Christmas Tree Farm.

Firefighters and EMS personnel arrived to find that a vehicle had left the roadway and struck a several items that included a tree stump, mailbox and sign in front of Santa's Christmas tree farm near the intersection of Pequash Ave. The vehicle came to rest on the front lawn of the business.

The two occupants of the vehicle were able to exit the vehicle and were in care of Southold Town Police upon arrival

1 patient was treated and transported to a local hospital with minor injuries.

Firefighters checked the vehicles for any hazards, and assisted the tow company with the removal of the vehicle, while CFD Fire Police diverted traffic until the scene was clear

Crews were on scene for 60 minutes
