It is with great sadness that the Chiefs Announce the untimely passing of Firefighter Kathie Cibulski.

Kathie passed away Tuesday Morning surrounded by family following a brief recent battle with cancer.

She was 56 years old.

Kathie joined CFD in 2004 as member #497. Through the years she served as a past officer, EMT, and Chicken Barbecue Chairperson.

More importantly, she was a friend to many.

Funeral Details are as follows:

Viewing will be Friday Aug. 4th at Defriest-Grattan Funeral Home, Mattituck from 4 to 7pm.

A Firematic Service will be held at 6:30 pm.

Funeral Mass will be on Saturday August 5th at 10: 00 am at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, Main Rd. Mattituck

The Rite of Committal will be private.

The Chiefs officers and members would like to express our heartfelt condolences to her Fiancee' and longtime companion in life Henry Romanowski, the entire Cibulski Family, and all of Kathie's Friends here at CFD.

Our thoughts and prayers are with them during this difficult time.
