This week is National Public Safety Telecommunications Week.

Emergency dispatchers are the first people you talk to when you call with a crisis. The service they provide is invaluable, but the nature of their job means they are not seen like police officers or fire rescue personnel. It is a unique and talented person who can do this job and do it well. It is only fitting that we take some time this week to honor them for the job that each of them does.
