On Tuesday afternoon at approximately 3:00 pm, the Cutchogue Fire Department was dispatched to a reported motor vehicle accident on route 25 in front of the King Kullen Shopping Plaza.

A total of three patients were transported to area hospitals with minor injuries following a 2 car collision.

While the patients were treated by EMS personnel, firefighters controlled any hazards and assisted in cleaning and removing the vehicles from the roadway.

The Southold Fire Department was called to assist at the scene with an additional ambulance.

CFD Fire police units assisted the police with traffic control.

Crews were on scene for approximately 30 minutes.
