On Saturday Evening at 10:22 pm CFD Volunteers were dispatched to assist the Mattituck Fire Department at the scene of a house fire on North Drive in Mattituck.

MFD units under the direction of First Assistant Chief Bobby Haas arrived to find a working fire in the rear portion of the home.

The Cutchogue Fire Dept. was requested to respond to the scene with a Rapid Intervention Team. (R.I.T.)

CFD Heavy Rescue 8-5-5 made the response with a crew of 8.

Once on scene CFD firefighters stood by in the event of any firefighter emergencies

A good job by Mattituck Firefighters made quick work of the fire, confining damages to the exterior deck and to a small area on the interior of the house.

CFD Firefighters were on scene for 45 minutes before being released.
