On Saturday Evening The Cutchogue Fire Department was called to assist the Southold Fire Department at the scene of a working structure fire in an occupied Restaurant. CFD responded with a Rapid Intervention Team that stood by at the scene while Southold Firefighters quickly controilled the fire. North Fork Patch Story: According to fire officials at the scene, the fire broke out just after 9 p.m. in the foyer; the restaurant had reportedly been open for business at the time. The fire was extinguished quickly, and no injuries or major damage were reported, officials said. The Southold Fire Department and Cutchogue Fire Departments were at the scene; the Greenport Fire Department was standing by at the Southold firehouse. Restaurant staff were seen outside the eatery watching as the firefighters quickly extinguished the fire. The restaurant is located at the longtime site of O'Mally's in Southold. Senor Taco confirmed the news that the business would be transforming the space in December; Senor Taco also has locations in Wading River, Mt. Sinai, and Holbrook. A social media post last Saturday indicated that the new location was open in Southold and serving up its full menu of starters, soups, salads, tacos, burritos, entrees, "mextras," and more.
