Recruitment

The Cutchogue Fire Department is always looking for community oriented individuals who want to help their neighbors. There are many different facets involved in running our large organization. Below are some brief descriptions of the different volunteering opportunities. Where can you see yourself?

There is a need for individuals to serve as firefighters. We respond whenever called 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to over 400 fire and rescue calls every year.

There is a need for individuals to serve as fire police. Our fire police provide crowd and traffic control at emergency scenes. With crowd and traffic control in place our firefighters can safely render aid to whomever is in need.

There is an urgent need for individuals to serve as Emergency Medical Service (EMS) providers. EMS providers staff our 2 ambulances and respond whenever called 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
