The Officers and members of the Cutchogue Fire Department would like to congratulate Southold Fire Department, Ex-Chief Edward J. Boyd on being named the Suffolk County Basic Life Support Provider of the Year for 2015.

The award was recently announced by the Suffolk County Regional EMS Council as part of their annual recognition awards.

Throughout the years Chief Boyd has become a great friend to CFD, and has worked alongside the members of our Department at countless calls, and rendered his assistance whenever needed.

He Currently serrves as the president of the North Fork Rescue Squad Association and is a past president of the Southold Town Fire Cheifs Council.
