Mourning A Loss: Firefighter Frank H. McBride Answers his Last Alarm

It is with Great Sadness that the Chiefs Announce that Firefighter Frank H. McBride has answered his last alarm.

Frank passed away suddenly on March 22nd at the age of 34 after being involved in a traffic accident.

Frankie served the Department for the past 16 years carrying on a McBride Family tradition. He followed in the footsteps of his grandfather Mickey, and has served alongside his father Richie, Brother Michael and numerous Uncles and Cousins within the Department.

He will forever be known for generosity, dedication to helping others and his ability to make others laugh and smile.

The Chiefs, Officers and Members of the Cutchogue Fire Department wish to extend our heartfelt condolences to his wife Laurie and Franks' entire family. We know that Frankie has numerous family members here at CFD, and countless friends that he has touched the hearts of throughout the community.

Our thoughts and prayers are with all of them during this difficult time.

He will be missed by us all.

The funeral arrangements are as follows:

Visitation:
Monday March 28th 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at the Coster-Heppner Funeral Home located on Route 25 in Cutchogue.

Firematic service: Will be held Monday Evening at 7:30 p.m. All Firefighters attending are asked to wear Class A uniforms.

Funeral Service:
Tuesday March 29th at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Ostrabrama Church on Depot Lane in Cutchogue with Fire Department Honors.

Interment to follow at the Sacred Heart Cemetery.
